J Street Co-op offers accommodations for one- and two-person households. At full capacity, the house fits around eight people. Our house is a low income housing opportunity (all of us make less than the Yolo county median income, $43,050/yr) and an equal opportunity housing provider with an emphasis on radical anti-oppression education, community dinners, and making decisions by consensus. Member obligations include: one cook night a week (with a housemate cook partner), some chores, weekly house meetings, and monthly work parties. We eat dinner together at 7pm Monday - Thursday and some Sundays. Please feel free to join us some time! In addition to our residential house members, the Co-op usually takes on one to three "boarders," people who eat dinner with the house and take on a cook night per week (with a partner or two). We accept applications for new house members whenever a spot opens up in our house (we'll make an announcement on the Wiki page and on other community boards). At the moment, J Street is home to one dog, Mica, one cat, Coo, and 10 chickens. There are 8 current housemates: Emily, Baz, Molly, Soo, Michelle, Thongxy, Caro, and Ames (as of February 2015). *Queers and People of Color encouraged to apply*
